These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Templar Formation website, the Templar Formation mobile application, and related services (the "Service") provided by Templar Formation LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By using the Service, you also acknowledge that we use third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising measurement tools, and a cloud database as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is intended for individuals aged 9 and older. It is not intended for children under 9 or for anyone below the minimum age required by local law. If you are under the age of 18, you should use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
The Service is offered through a subscription. New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial that provides full access to the Service during the trial period.
Automatic conversion and charge: Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your trial will automatically convert into a paid subscription and Apple will charge the payment method on file at the end of the trial. By starting a free trial, you authorize this charge unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Subscription plans and pricing:
If you cancel during the trial, you will keep access until the trial ends and you will not be charged. Trial eligibility is limited (for example, one trial per person/account) and we may change, suspend, or end trial availability to prevent abuse.
With an active subscription, you may gain access to features and content that can include:
The exact set of features and content available with a subscription may change over time as we improve the Service.
Subscriptions are recurring and auto-renew unless canceled. Subscriptions are available exclusively through the Apple App Store. Apple processes all payments, and you must manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device).
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or terminate access until payment is successfully processed. We may change pricing in the future. If required, we will provide notice and the new price will apply starting with the next billing cycle after the change takes effect.
You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. If you cancel, you will keep access until the end of your current trial or paid billing period, and you will not be billed for the next period. Cancellation does not retroactively refund charges already paid, except where required by law.
Refunds: Since subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store, refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. You can request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The Service includes optional community features ("Brotherhood") that require Apple Sign-In. These features include leaderboards, a prayerboard for petitions and personal statements, and squads for group accountability challenges.
When you use community features:
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content within the Service for the purpose of operating the community features.
We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content at our discretion, including content that is reported by other users, violates these Terms, or is otherwise inappropriate.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
Users may report prayer posts, "Your Why" statements, and squads that violate these Terms. We review reported content and may take action including removing content, suspending community feature access, or terminating accounts. We are not obligated to provide advance notice before taking moderation action.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app via Profile > Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes your Firebase account, all community data (leaderboard entries, prayer posts, squad memberships, challenge progress), and all local data on your device. This action is irreversible.
Account deletion does not cancel an active subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your Apple ID subscription settings.
The content in Templar Formation is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice and is not a substitute for counseling, therapy, or medical treatment.
Fitness and training carry risk. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions, including consulting a qualified professional where appropriate. We do not guarantee any particular results from using the Service.
The Service and its content (including text, graphics, and logos) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service — including community features — if you violate these Terms, if we believe your use creates risk for us or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss resulting from suspension or termination.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
